Tulips tend to produce one flower per stem although there are some species such as Tulips turkestanica. The cup or star shaped tulip flower has three petals and three tepals. Tulip flowers come in a variety of colors, except pure blue. Several tulips with “blue” in the name have a faint violet hue.
So can bearded dragons eat tulip petals at all?
Unfortunately they can’t eat tulip petals at all. Here are the reasons why its not a good idea;
- They should never eat any bulb flowers such as lilies or tulips.
- Not only are they toxic for them but there is also a danger that they are carrying pesticides or parasites that could be harmful for a bearded dragon if they were to consume them. This is why they should never eat any wild plants or creatures.
