Romaine lettuce is otherwise known as Cos lettuce and grows in a tall head of sturdy leaves tha thave firm ribs down their centers.
They are popularly sold in grocery stores and are a big favorite in salads.
So can bearded dragons eat romaine lettuce at all?

In particular, their acidic, calcium, phosphorus, water, protein, fat, sugar, and fibre content is of most interest when it comes to bearded dragons.
Another thing of importance is the calcium:phosphorus ratio as for every part phosphorus, there needs to be another part calcium if not more. From 1:1 to 2:1 is ideal as far as bearded dragons are concerned.

As you can see romaine lettuce has a lot of acidic content but the biggest issue is that it has a huge amount of water content. This is not good for bearded dragons as it will give them diarrhea.
So unfortunately romaine lettuce is a food to avoid as far as bearded dragons are concerned.
