Mesclun is a salad mix of assorted small, young salad green leaves. It is native to Provence in France and the traditional mix contains leafy lettuces, endive, chervil, and arugula.. However, it may also contain spinach, swiss chard, mustard, dandelion, frisee, mizuna, radicchio, sorrel or other leaf vegetables.
So can bearded dragons eat mesclun at all?
Unfortunately it contains leaf vegeables that are not good for bearded dragons such as lettuce, spinach and swiss chard. These are particularly bad for them and so Mesclun should be avoided as a food for them.
